Cómo Reportar un Incidente en Inglés
"I need to report a near miss incident that occurred this morning at 09:15 in the reinforcement area, Grid C-4. A steel bar approximately 1.5 meters long was accidentally knocked off the scaffold by a worker during material handling. It fell approximately 4 meters to the ground below. At the time of the incident, the exclusion zone was in place and no one was in the impact area. No injuries occurred. The root cause appears to be inadequate securing of materials on the scaffold platform. Principios para Comunicación Efectiva en Equipos Multiculturales
- Habla más despacio y articula claramente. El inglés en obras es rápido y lleno de jerga. Adapta tu velocidad.
- Usa frases cortas y directas. Evita los giros idiomáticos que confunden a no nativos.
- Confirma la comprensión: "Just to make sure we're aligned — what will your team do next? Can you summarize?"
- Documenta todo por escrito: Siempre envía un email de seguimiento tras una conversación importante.
- Respeta las jerarquías: En muchas culturas (asiática, árabe), criticar a alguien en público delante de sus superiores es gravemente ofensivo.
